Should I be embarrassed for having plastic surgery?
I am planning to get plastic surgery on my face and I am a bit worried that people might judge me differently when they find out that I had some plastic surgery done to my face. I plan to get a nose job along with eyelifts. Do you think I should keep it a secret and not tell anyone unless they bluntly ask? Or do I just let it be and freely tell all who wish to know. I don't look all that bad but I can be better and it's something I just want or need in life. Anyways, to all who had plastic surgery done, do you tell others about your operation or do you keep them in the dark? To people who never need to have plastic surgery, how do you view other who had undergo such surgery. Please be insightful. I am really in need of some feedback. Thanks.

- I've done it, but I don't tell anyone unless they ask. It's your business. But, if someone asks you, DON'T lie. Be proud of yourself & if you have the ability to fix what you want to, then go for it girl! PS - Don't forget to research your doctor - you don't want to get a botch-job.
- nope.. not unless the money you used for the surgery is not yours,,
- Why be embarrassed? It is something you are doing for YOU, not "them", and it isn't any of "their" business anyway. If someone does want to judge you for your personal decision, then why would you want to be around them anyway? If they bluntly ask, bluntly reply with "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" Good for you and good luck!
- There is certainly nothing to be embarrassed about. I don't think it's necessary to go around broadcasting it to people who don't ask, howver if someone comments about how great you look and asks what's up, simply smile and tell them what's up. Nothing at all wrong with that. If you try to keep it a secret, it appears that there's something wrong with what you did. (There is not anything wrong with what you did.) I have never had plastic surgery, but to those who feel they need it (for whatever reason), I say, go for it. ...rock on, Mama!
- Plastic surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America. Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com Hope this helps.
- If you feel better about yourself after plastic surgery, then, why tell anyone? If they ask, be honest, and proud of your decision to improve yourself..We should all understand others who make the decision to undergo these types of proceedures, for there personal nature alone.
- I don't think you should be embarrassed. It's no bodies business though, there is no need to go around telling people that you had anything done. Tell people only if you want. Please do allot of research to find the best. Have you thought about going to that Dr. in Beverly Hills? he has that t.v. program. Anyways,me personally,I would never get plastic surgery because I would be to afraid and totally regret if something went wrong. Please take care and good luck.
